Bonus Content Update!

Actual content follows below, but before you get around to my review of Big Apple Takedown, any ISB readers in the San Francisco area will want to take note of the following:

Next Wednesday, Sept. 20, Gene Yang and colorist Lark Pien will be at Isotope - The Comic Book Lounge celebrating the launch of the ridiculously awesome American Born Chinese, published by the fine folks at First Second Books. As you might recall, I absolutely loved ABC, so if you happen to be in the area at around 7 PM, stop by, do yourself a favor and buy a copy, and tell Gene Yang that some guy who writes about super-heroes punching bears on the internet thinks he's awesome.

More information on the shindig and how you can get in on the fun can be found here.

And while you're in the mood for clicking things, head over to CRACKED.com, where I've got an all-new, all-action installment in my step-by-step guide to success in super-crime! This time out, it's The Master Plan: A Beginner's Guide to Henchmen.

You don't want to be stuck hauling your own loot, do you?

Okay. Shilling over. Now, back to the content! New post below this one! DON'T YOU DARE MISS IT!

Boy howdy, I sure do wish I had
me some henchmen. I have teenagers but it just isn't the same. A lair would also be nice.

Cool article. The Venture Bros. has delved deep into the topic of professional henching this season. You managed to basically not rip them off, to my eye, which is impressive.
