the basics
"Chris works at a comic book shop so he reviews all the latest releases, but the real awesomeness lies in his ability to find obscure or forgotten comic books and write hilariously sarcastic reviews that make fun of them. They deserve it!"--Blair Butler on G4 TV's Attack of the Show!

I enjoyed that. But my squinty old eyes did not enjoy it. But fuck them, anyhow.

I just want to preserve this page as the greatest week in the history of INVINCIBLE SUPER-BLOG!
From US1 to the greatest panel ever to another classic ISB ad, with super-monkeys, Scott Pilgrim, and Chuck Norris included.
All it needs is a random reference to OMAC!

Totally awesome post. So awesome, I wish I could give you $1.98 so some of your awesome would rub off on me.

Will you make fun of the current Apocalypse plot on X-Men for my amusement? If you haven't read it, will you subject yourself to it in order to make me happy?
...will I dream?

Is that the one where Gambit becomes Death, the Horseman of Apocalypse, but only because he loves the X-Men?
Because really, it's almost doing the job for me already.

You're damn right! And then Voltron and Bumblebee from the Transformers help the X-Men beat up the Sphynx! No fooling!
Now that I think about it, I don't think anything coherent can be said about that comic. But... the sentinels! So lame! And Gambit being a douche! And Apocalypse being defeated in about three pages worth of "action"!
At the very least, check out the first full-page spread at the beginning of issue 186. More badly drawn super-hero buns than you can shake a stick at!
