Friday Night Fight Club!

Hear, mortals! Bahlactus has spoken, and while I don't think I'm supposed to talk about it, he's thrown down a challenge for the comics blogger internet for the greatest conflagration of visual violence on record!

Clearly, I could not pass this up. It's Friday Night Fight Club, and in this corner... The Mind-Boggling Chin-Checkery of Batman!

He will even go upside down on a chump!

Whose violence will reign supreme? You Decide!

BONUS VIOLENCE: Jim Gordon Will Wreck Your Face

Fact: The Batman Adventures is totally awesome

Batman Adventures-- specifically the Puckett/Parobeck issues-- is probably the best Batman run ever.

Is there nothing that can't be improved with a good Talladega Nights quote? I don't think so.

Dang. Gordon throws a mean right hook punch! The Penguin won't be able to quack for a week.

Two of those four guys have ginger hair.... that is pretty uncommon right, unless Bats is throwing down on a family of Fightin' Oirish?

I've been doing the more generic Friday Fight Night for a little over a year now, and there's something I observe here that makes that artwork PARTICULARLY special.

They're actually throwing rights!

In that year and a bit I've observed that, presumably by logic of reading left to right, artists favour LEFT HANDED PUNCHES.

So on this day Herr Parobeck, we salute YOU!

And now I'll stop my thinly veiled spamming and return you to your regular commenting... (FYI: It's all true!)
